My First Mistake
So my first mistake was to name my blog Come Friday when I want to only to name my post! So I am stuck with Come Friday and don't quite know what to make of it. It doesn't shout WRITER. It doesn't tell any potential reader anything at all.HOWEVER, in this instance something is going to happen Come Friday because I will be heading to France for a Writers' Retreat as part of my Katie Fforde 2016 Bursary win. I am intending to finish the first draft of my novel BEING VELVET (w/t). I reckon 25,000 words will comfortably conclude Velvet and Maddie's stories. That means I need to write 3,571 and a half words a day to be on target. Can I do it? Watch this space!
